SWIMMING POOL PLUGS

Introducing the new line of plugs we have developed for the pool leak industry. Over the years of working in the field we saw improvements that could be made to the standard rubber plug and took it upon ourselves to design and patent the best plugs ever made.

We redesigned this plug from the ground up: We started with the material of the body: The old black plugs were made from natural rubber that oxidizes and hardens over time. We chose silicone rubber that allowed us to increase the softness of the material by 30% with good strength and abrasion resistance. The silicone also allows us to color code the material to the specific size of the plug; no more bumbling through a bucket of plugs looking for the one size you need.

Unique to this plug is the large 3 way wing nut that makes it easy to tighten no matter what position it is in. The large wings and smooth shape make it a pleasure to tighten in cold weather. Once you try this new wing nut there is no going back to the old one.

The stem of the plug can come as a solid shaft or as a hollow stem that can be turned into an inducer plug. Of course a hollow stem plug is not as strong as a solid shaft so larger plugs most always use a solid shaft for heavy duty pressure testing. Another feature is the round radius at the end of the plug making it much easier to insert a plug past a joint or wedge a plug in an odd size pipe.
